Mark Laramee’s Professional and Personal Accomplishments

People who work with Mark Laramee are often surprised when they discover his dedication to wrestling. After Mark graduated with his MBA in finance from Sacred Heart University, he started working as a financial analyst for Bank of America. 

From there, he moved to senior management for John Hancock Financial Services, where he assessed sales and developed improvement strategies. 

In his current role as senior executive for John Hancock, Mark Laramee creates strategies to drive new business for Fortune 500 companies. He provides insight into investment opportunities to help his company capitalize on market opportunities.

Throughout his educational and professional career, Mark has been involved in wrestling. In high school, he received the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award for his region. 

He won at the division level both at Boston University and Sacred Heart University. He currently is a wrestling coach and sits on the board of directors of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in Massachusetts.

Being the fastest or the strongest doesn’t guarantee winning at wrestling or in life. Mark Laramee knows persistence, courage, and dedication over time are what sets wrestlers and professionals apart from the competition.

Mark Laramee is a man of many facets. If you look at his social media profiles, you’ll see a man who is passionate about sports. Mark participated in track, football, and wrestling. Mark Laramee frequently cheers for his favorite team, the New England Patriots, and coaches others who want to improve their skill in wrestling. 

Mark’s friends know family is important to him. He credits much of his personal success to his parents, Mark and Susan Laramee. He hopes get married to one day and be a good husband and father himself. 

Mark has already established himself as a successful professional. Mark Laramee currently works as a senior executive with John Hancock. Last year, his team met its $8 million annual sales plan and is on track to exceed their goal by the end of this year. 

His personal contribution as general director led to business plans for national accounts that had sales of over $4 million.
