Mark Laramee: An Effective Leader

At many points throughout his life, Mark proved he was born to be a leader. He has consistently helped others become their best by leading by example and direct guidance. Mark has been a wrestling coach for many years. Through his coaching, he helps show young boys how to have an incredible work ethic and teaches them important behaviors and priorities that will make them successful later in life. 

 

In his professional life, Mark Laramee has been chosen to lead many different teams. In his early days at John Hancock Financial Services, the company elected him to be the general director of business, and he lead a distribution team of more than 50 sales associates and wholesalers. With Mark’s influence and direction, the team was able to develop process improvements that helped multiple departments achieve increased efficiency.

One of Mark’s main priorities and goals is to continue to be a leader in his professional, personal, and community life, so he can help as many people as possible.

Mark Laramee: Statistics of Success

When analyzing Mark Laramee’s profound effect on his company, John Hancock Financial Services, there are factors to look at outside of his leadership abilities and personal impact. Mark Laramee also helped earn the company large sums of money to help them develop as a successful company.

 Last year, Mark’s team met their sales goal, bringing in $8 million in sales to the company. They are predicted to continue their success and exceed their sales goal for the current year. His personal contribution as director on the team has led him to bring in an individual $4 million through business plans for accounts all over the United States. Throughout his time at John Hancock, Mark has been able to negotiate $100 million in sales agreements. Mark has also been the leader and overseer of multiple teams and groups that have earned significant amounts of money for the company and influenced the overall workings of John Hancock. 

The Professional Life of Mark Laramee

Mark Laramee began his professional life right out of Sacred Heart University when he was hired at Bank of America. From there, he moved on to work at John Hopkins Financial Services. Mark Laramee began at John Hopkins as a senior manager working in sales reporting and analysis to improve performance and develop strategies for departments all over the company. Currently, he is working at John Hopkins as a senior executive.     

Mark Laramee: A Renaissance Man

One of the most impressive things about Mark Laramee is that he is a man of many talents. Most likely due to the drive and worth ethic that he learned from his parents, he has been able to succeed at many different things throughout his years.

Mark has managed to make a large impact on the professional and athletic communities. His influence has traveled outside of the northeast region and extends across the entire United States. In high school, his team won the David Schultz High School Excellence Award, and he was inducted into the 1998 National Wrestling Hall of Fame.

In business, he has contributed largely to the success of John Hancock Financial Services. Mark Laramee has led many teams that have earned millions of dollars for the company and he, himself, has been able to earn millions of dollars individually, as well.

Mark Laramee was also able to achieve academic success when he was still in school. He won an award in high school for his impressive academic performance and received degrees from two esteemed colleges: Boston University and Sacred Heart University. 

Mark Laramee’s Love of Family

Ever since Mark was a young boy, family has been a very big part of his life. In Massachusetts, he lived with his parents Mark and Susan Laramee. Each member of the family worked hard; Mark Laramee, Sr. working hard at his job at the US Postal Service, Susan Laramee providing focused help at the local dentist’s office, and young Mark excelling at school and athletics. With the support of his family behind him, Mark was able to be an important member of a team that won the Dave Schwartz High School Excellence Award for the Northeast Region, and the ASICS Academic Award in the same year. He attributes much of his professional success to the impact of his parents. 

Mark Laramee has expressed multiple times that he hopes to meet someone and get married someday. Mark Laramee also wants to have children that he can love and support through all of their ventures.
